Traditional packaged sewage treatment plants rely on grid power for blowers, pumps and PLCs. In remote villages, mountain homestays, islands and eco-tourism parks, extending the power line costs more than the plant itself. A pure solar-powered sewage treatment system solves both the energy and the discharge problem.
PV array (mono-Si, ≥22%) converts sunlight to DC; an MPPT controller charges a LiFePO₄ battery bank (3–7 rainy-day autonomy).
Stored DC/AC powers A/O, SBR, MBBR or PV-MBR process units—driving aerators, mixers, return pumps and UV/disinfection.
Smart EMS shifts high-load tasks (aeration) to sunny hours, switches to intermittent mode at night.
Treated water meets Class 1A rural standards (COD<40 mg/L, NH₃-N<5 mg/L, TP<0.5 mg/L) for irrigation or reuse.
